What Started My Love For Cars

1991 Ford Mustang GT

When I was a kid, my dad had a 5.0. It was a complete monster. He had gold Dayton rims with vogue tires, and they poked out wide. It was red just like the one in the picture, but it louvers in the back window.

5.0 Fox Body

No rumor has it back then, he had turbos in it. I don’t know if that’s true or not. I do know that he had headers and exhaust system, to go along with his Edelbrock carburetor. That thing was loud and fast. They were coming stuck off the factory with about 235 ponies and about 300 pounds of torque.

Nowadays, a Ford Mustang 5.0 will push out about 460 ponies and push about 420 pound of torque. But honestly, if I have my pick… I’d go grab fox body any day. They’re still one of my favorite cars. I don’t know if it’s the nostalgia or not. But if I grab one today, I’d probably never get rid of it.

New Project In Motion

1977 Chevy Impala coupe

So currently I’m in the process of moving to the Carolinas. I’m meeting up with my big bro in the northern state, in the small town of Cameron. We’ve recently acquired a couple of 1977 Chevy Impalas. One a coupe, the other a sedan.

1977 Impala Sedan

The coupe currently features a 350 engine, while the sedan has a 383 stroker. The cars shown here are just an example of what we have. But come August, we will vlog and blog the entire journey. Every screw and bolt. I hope that you will be there.
